Must:
We require candidates to possess the following qualifications: - A current TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmental Information. - A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field. - A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering or systems integration. - Proven experience in integrating complex software systems with hardware components. - Strong understanding of system integration principles, testing methodologies, and software development processes. - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, candidates with one or more of the following skills will be preferred: - Experience with government hosted ground system framework. - Experience with missile warning systems or other defense-related applications. - Proficiency with Agile software development methodologies. - Demonstrated experience leading technical teams. - Graduate degrees or coursework in Systems Engineering or related fields.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will oversee and execute system integration tasks across software and hardware components. My responsibilities include: - Developing integration plans and test strategies to ensure system functionality and interoperability. - Coordinating closely with systems engineers, software developers, and test teams to manage integration activities efficiently. - Conducting integration and testing of complex systems, ensuring compliance with system requirements. - Providing technical leadership and mentoring to team members involved in system integration efforts. - Documenting integration processes and results, and presenting findings to stakeholders. - Performing other duties as assigned.

We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join our innovative team at SciTec, Inc. We are a dynamic small business dedicated to delivering advanced sensor data processing technologies and scientific instrumentation capabilities in support of National Security and Defense. By collaborating with customers throughout the Department of Defense and U.S. Government, we are developing pioneering tools that provide unique, world-class data exploitation capabilities. This role focuses on the integration of advanced missile warning software systems and offers a distinct chance to contribute to essential national defense projects. The integration processes will involve Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor systems designed for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence. We seek a motivated engineer who thrives in addressing complex integration challenges in support of critical national security objectives. SciTec offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, which includes an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), a fully vested 401K contribution, and comprehensive health insurance coverage, among other benefits. The pay range for this position is $131,000 - $185,000 per year.
