Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in developing and implementing DevOps or DevSecOps solutions using Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Solid expertise in designing and creating application container deployment solutions utilizing Docker, docker-compose, Kubernetes, and similar technologies.
- Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
- Familiarity with Istio service mesh, as well as monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Proven experience in maintaining deployment environments for development, testing, and production.
- Knowledge of authentication technologies, such as Keycloak.
- At least one year of professional experience with Python3.
- At least one year of professional experience working with Linux operating systems.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physical sciences.
- Capability to obtain and retain a DoD security clearance.
- Willingness to work 100% on-site.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee integration, security scanning, and deployment of various applications within coordinated frameworks.
- Collaborate with deployment teams to manage deployments to development, test, and operational settings.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines in GitLab CI.
- Monitor CI pipelines for performance and address reported issues as they arise.
- Implement and manage version promotion for one or more applications within CI pipelines.
- Integrate CI pipelines with development tools for artifact management, software testing, software quality assessment, etc.
- Execute Continuous Delivery and perform automated or manual deployments of applications in orchestrated Kubernetes environments.
- Conduct checkouts and troubleshoot deployed applications in both development and production environments.
- Administer software release processes, including release branch creation, integration, checkout, and testing.
- Implement and sustain Helm charts.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
