Lead Python Developer

We are SciTec, a vibrant small business dedicated to providing advanced sensor data processing technologies and scientific instrumentation capabilities in support of National Security and Defense. We are expanding our innovative team! Our clients include various Department of Defense and U.S. Government entities, for whom we create cutting-edge tools that enable exceptional data exploitation capabilities. We currently have an exciting opening for a skilled Python Software Developer in Boulder, CO. This role involves supporting programs that focus on optimizing satellite scheduling for missile detection. Our ideal candidate will have substantial experience with Python, excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with Scientists, Engineers, and Developers, and be capable of prototyping, developing, integrating, and testing advanced software solutions. It's important to note that we exclusively work on U.S. government contracts requiring U.S. citizenship for all employees, as we cannot sponsor or assume sponsorship of work visas. U.S. citizenship is necessary for obtaining and retaining a security clearance. Candidates who do not meet these criteria will not be considered. The compensation range for this position is approximately $145,000 to $204,000 per year, based on various factors including experience and skills.
