Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- You should possess at least five years of ongoing professional experience and fluency in C++ and Python.
- A minimum of five years of professional experience with Linux operating systems is essential (additional education may replace some years of experience).
- I also seek individuals with professional experience in the exploitation and analysis of remotely sensed data such as OPIR, E/O, SAR, Spectral, or RF data.
- Candidates must be able to work full-time in-person at our Boulder, CO office location.
- Attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- A current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher.
- An advanced degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- Professional experience in application orchestration and/or deployment to the cloud.
- Professional experience with Agile software development.
Responsibilities
- I will ask you to research new algorithms and analysis techniques for remote sensor data exploitation.
- You are expected to demonstrate fluency and idiomatic mastery in Python and C++, and be comfortable with software design and architecture.
- Your role will include developing proof-of-concept signal processing, image processing, and data exploitation tools in Python.
- You will improve Python tools related to our machine learning, modeling, and simulation efforts.
- Characterizing the quality and performance of algorithms and sensor systems will also be part of your responsibilities.
- As a member of an Agile team, you will contribute to shared tools and take on additional duties as assigned.
