Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physical sciences
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in developing and implementing DevOps or DevSecOps solutions utilizing Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Proven knowledge of NIST RMF, CMMC, and STIG compliance standards
- Experience applying security best practices to containerized applications and orchestration systems such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes
- Expertise in adhering to cybersecurity protocols throughout development, testing, and production phases
- Familiarity with various software licensing types (Public Domain, LGPL, Permissive, Copy Left, Proprietary)
- Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- Willingness to work exclusively on-site
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: Experience with static and dynamic analysis tools
- Preferred: Knowledge in software package management using JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, or similar platforms
- Preferred: Experience in software vulnerability assessment using SAST/DAST tools like SonarQube
- Preferred: Proficiency in Python3 or C++
- Preferred: Experience with container security tools such as Grype, Syft, and Snyk
- Preferred: Systems administration experience in a Linux environment, specifically for CI/CD tools like GitLab
Responsibilities
- Remain updated on the latest revisions of NIST RMF and modify policy documents as necessary
- Document and secure Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines in GitLab CI/CD with tools like JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and Ansible
- Create threat models and other necessary documentation that outline the security of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Oversee integration, security scanning, and deployment security for multiple applications within orchestrated environments
- Ensure software promotions are compliant with government security policies at all levels of classification
- Manage security protocols for AWS (GovCloud) to ensure the integrity of software artifacts
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned
