C++ Software Engineer, Staff/Sr Staff

Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- An additional year of education may substitute for a year of professional experience.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience with proficiency in C++.
- At least three years of experience working with Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of data structures.
- Skills in optimizing high-data-throughput processing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time in-person at our Boulder, CO office.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with GPU programming.
- Solid understanding and experience in modern object-oriented design, inheritance patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience implementing features from C++ standards 17, 20, or 23.
- Background in the exploitation and analysis of OPIR, E/O, SAR, spectral, RF, or other remotely sensed data.
- An advanced degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- Proficiency in one or more languages such as Matlab, Rust, or Python.
- Professional experience with Agile software development.
- A current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher.
Responsibilities
- Implement new algorithms for exploiting remote sensor data.
- Optimize existing high-throughput algorithms related to image analysis, detection, and tracking.
- Exhibit mastery of C++ programming, comfortable with software design and architecture.
- Collaborate as part of an Agile team and contribute to shared tools.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
