Requirements
Must:
- 1–3+ years of experience in Verse programming or a strong background in Unreal scripting
- Demonstrated experience in developing UEFN projects or completed Fortnite Creative maps
- In-depth knowledge of Fortnite gameplay systems, devices, replication, and networking
- Capability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment
*Bonus Skills (Not Required):*
- Familiarity with Niagara VFX or particle systems
- Experience in low-poly or stylized asset integration
- Background in custom animations or Verse UI development
- Experience in optimizing maps for performance and memory
Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and modular Verse code for gameplay systems
- Develop and integrate custom mechanics such as abilities, AI behaviors, UI interactions, and game loops
- Collaborate with level designers and artists to implement features in UEFN
- Debug, test, and enhance map performance for large player counts
- Implement VFX, audio triggers, devices, and event-driven logic
- Design scalable systems that accommodate live updates and rapid iteration
- Maintain thorough documentation of systems and code architecture

As we expand our development team, we seek a talented Verse Coder to help turn our creative concepts into reality using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).
