Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support or systems administration
- Proficiency with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Fundamental understanding of networking principles (DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support (in-person, telephonic, or remote)
- Set up, manage, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
- Provide support for Microsoft systems (Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Outlook/Exchange, Teams)
- Oversee user accounts and access management in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Assist in maintaining backups, endpoint management, and basic cybersecurity measures
- Resolve basic network connectivity problems (LAN/WAN)
- Offer support for servers, storage systems, and web applications as needed
- Maintain precise records of systems, support tickets, and equipment
- Collaborate with external IT partners on escalations and projects
- Aid in system upgrades, deployments, and ongoing enhancements
- Monitor system performance and ensure timely updates are implemented
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to users through various channels
- Configure and troubleshoot a range of devices including computers and mobile technology
- Support and maintain Microsoft operating systems and office productivity tools
- Administer user accounts and permissions in relevant systems
- Facilitate the backup process and bolster cybersecurity practices
- Diagnose and address networking issues as they arise
- Readily assist with server and application support tasks
- Keep thorough documentation of IT operations and incidents
- Coordinate with third-party IT entities for escalated issues and projects
- Participate in system enhancements and implement upgrades as required
- Regularly check system performance metrics and apply updates accordingly
