Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field preferred, but comparable experience considered. - Minimum of 7 years experience in IT infrastructure, focusing heavily on networking and cybersecurity. - Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall management is essential. - Practical experience in security monitoring, incident response, and compliance frameworks is a plus. - Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure and Microsoft 365 and their security configurations is preferred. - Excellent problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and capacity to work independently or collaboratively are required. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, wireless systems, and secure network segmentation across business and production networks. - Monitor and enhance network performance to guarantee reliability and uptime for enterprise systems and manufacturing operations. - Act as an escalation point for intricate network issues and coordinate with vendors as necessary. - Maintain accurate network documentation, including topology diagrams, IP schemas, and hardware inventories. - Oversee the daily management of IT infrastructure, comprising servers, storage, networks, endpoints, and datacenter/cloud environments. - Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols across network, endpoint, cloud, and identity environments. - Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, endpoint protection platforms, and monitoring tools. - Conduct vulnerability scanning and remediation activities while collaborating with Analysts and Administrators. - Lead or assist in incident detection, response, containment, and recovery efforts. - Support compliance with security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, CMMC) and regulatory requirements. - Ensure secure, stable connectivity and data flow between IT and OT environments. - Support integration and lifecycle planning for plant systems and smart factory platforms in partnership with Operations and Engineering teams. - Participate in disaster recovery and continuity planning to safeguard production uptime. - Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated network and security incidents. - Assist in managing Microsoft 365 and Azure security configurations, including conditional access, MFA, and device compliance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects that involve transformational strategies, smart factory systems, and cloud integrations. - Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning, backup validation, and failover testing. - Engage in an on-call rotation with the team as required. - Research and suggest emerging tools, methods, and technologies to bolster cybersecurity posture and network performance. - Document processes and configurations to ensure consistent operations and facilitate knowledge transfer. - Contribute to the IT knowledge base and assist in training initiatives for team members. - Evaluate new technologies and recommend modernization opportunities aligned with business needs.
