Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Planning, Industrial/Engineering, Technology, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, 6+ years of relevant professional experience may be accepted at managements discretion as a substitute for the required education.
- Experience in process improvement, business analysis, change management, or information technology project management.
- Experience with Land Management or Community Development and Regulatory software systems is preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with building and construction trades and local government permitting and inspection processes is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Program Administrator in the implementation and ongoing usage of the Countys Land Information Management System (Accela).
- Collaborate with various internal divisions, Enterprise Information Technology, and other County departments for effective utilization of the Accela platform.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, analyzing processes to identify efficiency improvements.
- Help design and implement system enhancements, including the development of functional specifications.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to facilitate communication, change management, and system adoption.
- Monitor system performance, performing gap analysis and recommending ongoing improvements to align with departmental goals.
- Provide support with project coordination, identify potential risks, and ensure quality assurance to meet business requirements.
Description
We are a dynamic team within the Planning and Development Services Department, dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the Countys Land Information Management System. Our mission is to improve service delivery and efficiency for the community we serve. This full-time role offers a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with competitive starting pay of $64,812.80. All our employees are considered essential and expected to fulfill their duties during disasters or declared emergencies.
