Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

- Analyze requirements to create test plans, cases, and acceptance criteria - Execute and support a variety of functional and non-functional testing types, including automated functional testing, regression, integration, and performance tests - Design and maintain automated test scripts and reusable frameworks for various applications (UI/API/backend/mobile) - Incorporate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing - Identify, document, and report defects; conduct root cause analysis and perform manual tests for critical paths when necessary - Write SQL queries to validate backend, data flows, and APIs - Collaborate effectively with developers, product teams, architecture, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure testability - Assist in setting up test environments, creating automated test data, and managing test-to-production transitions - Prepare test documentation, metrics, and quality reports - Apply QA methodologies, best practices, risk-based testing, and standards for automation maturity - Utilize AI/LLM tools for test case generation, automation processes, and optimization tasks - Develop a comprehensive understanding of supported business processes and related applications - Perform additional responsibilities as necessary to ensure high-quality application delivery
