Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 9 years of leadership experience.
- At least 9 years of experience in developing test strategies, plans, and cases.
- Over 9 years of experience with CI/CD methodologies and continuous integration systems.
- At least 3 years of experience in developing test strategies, plans, and cases.
- Ability to create and execute test cases, as well as prepare test setups.
- Experience conducting regression testing and logging/reporting defects.
- Proficiency in resolving basic production support cases.
- Experience collaborating with development teams for clarifications and issue resolution.
- Knowledge of using AI tools for basic test creation, documentation, and analysis.
- Programming or scripting skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar.
- Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, REST-Assured, JMeter, etc.
- Comprehensive understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycle, and SDLC.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies, DevSecOps, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.
- SQL proficiency for testing web applications, APIs, and systems with minimal UI.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Xray.
- Comfort in utilizing AI-powered testing tools and analysis utilities.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to manage workloads, collaborate effectively in Agile teams, and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements to create comprehensive test plans, cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Perform and support a wide array of both functional and non-functional testing, including automated functional and feature testing, regression, integration, system, compatibility, API, and performance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, reusable frameworks, tools, and utilities for UI, API, backend, and mobile.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and facilitate continuous testing (Shift left/right).
- Identify, log, and report defects, support root cause analysis, and conduct manual tests as necessary for critical paths or exploratory testing.
- Write SQL queries for validating backend, data flows, and APIs.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, architects, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure testability.
- Support the setup of test environments, automated test data creation, and migration from test to production.
- Prepare comprehensive test documentation, metrics, and reports on quality.
- Apply QA methodologies, best practices, risk-based testing, and adhere to standards and automation maturity.
- Utilize AI and LLM tools for generating test cases, automating, conducting impact analysis, optimizing, classifying, and documenting processes.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of the supported business processes and related applications.
- Undertake additional duties as required to assist in the ongoing delivery of high-quality applications.
