We are seeking an undergraduate student who is expected to graduate between December 2026 and May/June 2027. The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, including all engineering disciplines. A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher is required. You should demonstrate intellectual curiosity and bravery, possess strong written and spoken English communication skills, and exhibit analytical thinking with a keen attention to detail. Additionally, you should be organized, capable of managing time effectively, and able to handle multiple tasks with efficiency. The ability to work independently on special projects and contribute positively to a team is essential. It would be beneficial to have knowledge or coursework related to APIs, databases, cloud computing, or software integration, as well as experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Responsibilities
As a Payments Technology intern, I will engage in tasks that include, but are not limited to, assisting in the integration of software solutions into our payments technology ecosystem. I will support the development and upkeep of technical documentation for system architecture, workflows, and integration processes. My responsibilities will also involve researching new technologies, APIs, and tools relevant to payment systems, ensuring that technical documentation and application information remains accurate and current. I will prepare presentations to communicate technical and business cases to stakeholders, participate in testing, troubleshooting, and validating integrations, as well as contribute to special projects tied to strategic initiatives within the bank. This could encompass areas such as real-time payments, API-driven services, mobile and online banking integrations, or system modernization efforts.
