Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of demonstrated experience in architecture, specializing in enterprise integration patterns, API design, and event-driven architecture
- Strong background in delivering scalable solution designs in complex enterprise settings
- Capable of guiding cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across various levels
- Excellent ability to translate intricate technical concepts into clear business value and outcomes
- Proficient facilitator, experienced in leading collaborative design sessions and workshops with a variety of stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as TIBCO BusinessWorks, MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, or similar technologies
- Expertise in enterprise messaging systems (TIBCO EMS, RabbitMQ) and event streaming platforms (Kafka)
- Knowledgeable in API gateways and API security standards
- Familiar with enterprise file transfer solutions (Axway TransferCFT and related)
- Experience integrating cloud services and platforms, particularly AWS data services (S3, Lambda, Glue)
- Strong understanding of data integration patterns, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline architectures
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, including GxP, SOX, and data privacy
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
- Professional certifications in relevant technologies, cloud platforms, or architecture frameworks preferred
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment of next-generation architecture patterns and reference architectures, fostering consistency and modernization throughout the enterprise
- Design and implement enterprise integration patterns that facilitate the transition from file-based to API and event-driven architectures, enhancing interoperability and minimizing complexity
- Architect and advance a standardized integration framework that speeds up delivery, encourages reuse, and guarantees scalable, secure connectivity among systems and teams
- Ensure that solution designs comply with enterprise standards for scalability, resilience, security, and compliance while advocating for simplification and reuse
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders to convert integration requirements into scalable, future-focused architectural solutions
- Mentor and advise teams on integration best practices, patterns, and technologies to build capabilities and ensure consistent implementation
- Continuously evaluate the integration and technology landscape to discover opportunities for optimization, consolidation, and innovation that enhance business value
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, endorsing architectural excellence and innovation across the organization
