Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of current IT technologies, data types, and ontologies relevant to Sanofi R&D
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and enhancing IT solutions
- Comprehensive knowledge of processes and workflows within the clinical domain
- Eagerness to drive digital advancement in the clinical community
- Global and multi-cultural experience preferred
- Proficient vendor relationship management skills
- Solid expertise in Solution Architecture
- Familiarity with GxP, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations, ensuring compliance in IT design and implementation
- Proven ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions, aligning with business objectives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical ideas to diverse audiences
- Experience with Sanofis standard technologies, such as Snowflake, GitHub, IICS, Python, Openshift, ReactJS, SQL, AWS, and Azure
- Team-oriented mindset, fostering a cooperative and productive environment
- Proven history of reliability and professionalism, consistently producing high-quality outcomes and meeting deadlines
- 5-8 years of experience in Solution Architecture
- Advanced business acumen, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Intermediate decision-making and transversal collaboration abilities
- Technical proficiency in application design and integration, DevOps practices, and compliance of computerized systems
- Familiarity with Lean & Agile methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field required
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design and execution of solutions for clinical operations
- Ensure strategies align with architectural goals and adhere to governance standards
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and clinical experts to grasp functional and technical requirements
- Streamline and enhance existing architecture, focusing on delivering reusable services and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Partner with cross-functional teams and other domains to guarantee complete and operational solutions conforming to business processes
- Provide clear and detailed leadership regarding clinical development architecture on projects
- Assess product utility and cost during the supplier selection process
- Develop and maintain both current and future-state architecture roadmaps that align with business requirements
- Establish the strategic direction, select technologies, and set standards for the clinical development domain
