IT Engagement Student Assistant - Service Desk

In this role, I will provide frontline Tier 1 support via telephone, email, in-person, remote, and chat to our internal and external clients. I will ensure timely, consistent, and quality technical assistance to SHSU constituents encountering technological issues and maintain accurate documentation of all interactions. My responsibilities also include maintaining the confidentiality and security of data while participating in continuous improvement initiatives for the Service Desk to enhance our service delivery. Additionally, I will write and maintain documentation, resolve incidents or fulfill service requests in line with established policies, and actively contribute to our collaborative team environment. Other tasks may be assigned as necessary.
