Requirements
Must:
- Currently enrolled as a college Freshman or Sophomore in an IT-related discipline
- Completed relevant coursework contributing to necessary skills for the position
- Must maintain enrollment in a minimum of 6 credit hours (100+ level) during Spring and Fall semesters
- Preferred familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), and Outlook
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 applications
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, particularly Windows 10
- Experience with web browsers like Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Microsoft Edge
- Basic networking knowledge, including user accounts, FTP, dial-up/VPN, and Intranet vs. Internet
- Ability to troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware issues
- Familiarity with smartphones (Android and iPhones) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide phone and chat support to internal SRP clients with diverse technical backgrounds
- Deliver outstanding customer service, exercising patience while resolving client inquiries
- Conduct troubleshooting over the phone or via chat, escalating issues as necessary while documenting detailed accounts of interactions
- Maintain a minimum work schedule of 15 hours per week, with up to a maximum of 29.5 hours
- Be physically present on-site twice a week, with either Tuesday or Wednesday being a mandatory workday
