Requirements
Must:
- An undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science, or at least five years of relevant M365 engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience providing operational support and configuration management of M365 Cloud platforms, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Power Platform Online.
- Proficiency in scripting with a focus on automating M365 service management.
- Experience in designing, testing, and implementing configuration, compliance, and various M365 policies within Entra/Azure environments.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and governance features.
- Demonstrated experience in deploying advanced M365 capabilities within a large, distributed environment (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Provide support, supervision, governance, and tactical guidance essential for delivering M365 services, including participation in the On-Call support rotation.
- Contribute meaningfully to the overall M365 architecture and governance model.
- Research, design, and implement standards-based, high-performing, highly available, and secure components to fulfill business requirements.
- Offer operational guidance on Exchange, SharePoint, and Power Platform Online to the enterprise.
- Evaluate the current environment for critical deficiencies and recommend improvement solutions.
- Utilize capability modeling to align system and business strategies effectively.
- Consult project teams to ascertain when M365 services require modifications to meet project needs.
- Implement and advocate for standard configuration and change management practices.
- Develop test plans and project timelines for assigned initiatives.
- Assign tasks and mentor a team of M365 engineers, adhering to industry best practices.
- Monitor system performance, security, and compliance, initiating best practices and proactive enhancements.
