Requirements
Must:
- 8-10 years of experience in network operations is essential
- Expertise in various Cisco technologies including routing, switching, and network security products like Palo Alto firewall, Fortinet, Firepower, and Cisco ASA
- Practical experience in managing network devices such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls, voice telephony, IPS, DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP
- Solid understanding of firewall security including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Fortinet appliances
- Hands-on experience with F5 load balancers and forward/reverse proxy configurations
- Support experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches
- Familiarity with Cisco SD-WAN / SDA technology
- Experience with Cisco Wireless Technologies
- Comprehension of IP addressing, MPLS routing, and internet technologies
- Proficient understanding of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and ISIS
- Knowledge of VPN, VXLAN, VRRP, HSRP, STP, PortChannel, NetFlow, and stacking technologies
- Awareness of network automation using tools such as Ansible and Python
- Experience using SolarWinds NPM, NCM, NTA, IPAM, Syslog, and ITSM tools
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation and administration of our network infrastructure
- Manage and configure Cisco routing and switching devices
- Implement and maintain security measures using firewalls and other security appliances
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide resolution in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the team to optimize network performance and reliability
- Execute network automation tasks using appropriate tools and scripts
- Support the deployment and management of wireless technologies
- Monitor and maintain network health using SolarWinds and similar tools
- Document network configurations and processes for future reference
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements related to networking
