Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in developing applications using the React framework with TypeScript and CSS in complex web environments
- Proficiency in implementing design systems, particularly MaterialUI
- Skill in creating reusable components
- Capable of designing and building frameworks to fulfill strategic business objectives
- Ability to identify and integrate design, coding, and best practices to enhance team efficiency and quality
- Experience in collaborating with senior architects and engineers to develop architectural solutions
- Familiarity with large, integrated systems featuring numerous external dependencies
- Experience with web services and APIs, specifically REST or GraphQL
- Proficient in PHP and Doctrine
- Strong understanding of software design patterns
- Practical knowledge of Linux, Git, and Docker
- Solid understanding of Cloud Infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to present technical topics clearly
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in web application development
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on requirement specifications through user stories
- Design, implement, and test technical solutions that align with requirements
- Develop well-structured and maintainable code for web, mobile, and APIs
- Work together with fellow developers on feature development, code reviews, and bug resolution
- Engage with the team to evaluate and implement frameworks and tools aimed at enhancing development and quality
- Participate in an agile scrum team to continuously refine processes and behaviors through regular iterations and reflections
Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Web Application software development team in a remote capacity. Our team utilizes PHP, TypeScript, and C#.NET for our front-end applications and integrates with various ERPs. We are proud of our web application built on the React/GraphQL framework and our innovative desktop utility that syncs Windows-based customer data to our platform. To further enhance our service, weve developed an in-house React Native application for mobile access. Our development and production environments are hosted on AWS, and we fully embrace a DevOps philosophy, striving for true CI/CD efficiency. We offer a competitive pay rate of $60 – $80 per hour and flexible remote working conditions within Canada.
