Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in systems administration within cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Strong familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and ESXi.
- Proficient in managing databases including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL.
- Practical experience with Windows Server and diverse Linux distributions.
- Solid understanding of networking principles including DNS, VPNs, TCP/IP protocols, and networking best practices.
- Capable of developing automation scripts using Bash, Python, and Shell Scripting.
- Experienced with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Knowledgeable about DevOps methodologies and tools like Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD processes.
- Comprehension of RESTful service architecture and API integrations.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities focused on enhancing system security and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support cloud environments including AWS and Azure to ensure secure and scalable infrastructure.
- Maintain virtualization systems such as VMware and ESXi by provisioning, monitoring, and resolving issues with virtual machines.
- Oversee database management systems including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL solutions to uphold data integrity and performance.
- Configure and administer operating systems such as Windows and various Linux distributions.
- Handle DNS settings, VPN connections, and network security measures to guarantee dependable connectivity.
- Create automation scripts using Bash, Shell Scripting, Python, or PowerShell to enhance efficiency in administrative tasks.
- Implement container orchestration using Kubernetes for deploying scalable applications.
- Employ DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker to streamline continuous integration and deployment workflows.
- Monitor system health, conduct backups, apply patches, and ensure adherence to security standards.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to support REST APIs and ensure seamless service integration.
