Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.
- Over 3 years of relevant experience; aerospace industry background is advantageous.
- Preferred: MBA, M.Sc., or equivalent higher education or certifications.
- Capability to work autonomously and produce high-quality outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to spearhead and manage change.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) programs, procedures, and protocols.
- Knowledge of Quality System Management as per AS9100 standards.
- Understanding of SEI CMMI processes.
Responsibilities
- Implement principles and processes of the Quality Management System.
- Oversee and aid in the assembly operations, conducting inspections to detect potential non-conformances at the earliest stage.
- Create and evaluate ECR/N documentation and take part in CCB activities.
- Manage and track nonconforming materials.
- Participate in the Material Review Board and drive proposed corrective measures.
- Conduct internal audits to confirm process maturity and compliance across customers, production, and supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to maintain compliance standards.
- Foster a culture that prioritizes people in alignment with Saabs leadership philosophy.
- Support incoming inspections and develop inspection planning.
- Assist in the calibration and upkeep of equipment.
- Track and report internal quality metrics at Saab.
