Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a similar discipline.
- Advanced degree (such as a Masters) is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical writing or a related domain.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as STC or CPTC.
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficient in help authoring tools like MadCap Flare or Adobe FrameMaker.
- (Nice to have) Experience with Agile development processes and version control systems.
- (Nice to have) Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with graphics design and multimedia development software.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality user manuals, guides, and documentation that support our products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and marketing.
- Establish and uphold documentation standards, style guides, and best practices.
- Conduct research and interviews with subject matter experts to gather necessary information for documentation.
- Review and revise documentation to ensure it is accurate, clear, and consistent.
- Create and maintain documentation tailored for various audiences, including customers, employees, and partners.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices within technical writing.
