Data Analyst with SQL and Python

In this position, I will expect you to: - Collect, cleanse, and validate extensive datasets—particularly POS and transactional data—from various sources to ensure accuracy and dependability. - Analyze sales performance across products, categories, locations, and timeframes to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement. - Construct and maintain dashboards, automated reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. - Monitor key retail KPIs, including sales, margin, pricing accuracy, promotions, shrinkage, and inventory turnover. - Conduct exploratory data analyses to reveal patterns in customer purchasing behavior. - Assist merchandising and operations teams in assessing product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional effectiveness. - Ensure the integrity of POS data by investigating discrepancies in sales, pricing, scanning, and inventory records. - Collaborate with IT and store operations to oversee data flows between POS systems and analytical platforms. - Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports summarizing performance and opportunities for our leadership team. - Execute statistical analyses and develop predictive models to aid in forecasting and operational planning. - Document data processes, methodologies, and findings in a clear and comprehensive manner. - Present analytical outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ###
