Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of practical experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data
- More than 5 years of experience utilizing IBM Knowledge Catalog, including the migration and support of DataStage workloads
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM Manta
- Strong background in establishing and implementing enterprise data architecture standards
- Proven ability to convert business needs into scalable data solutions
- Experience in large, complex enterprise environments with diverse data sources
- In-depth knowledge of data governance, quality, and lifecycle management
- Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage enterprise data solutions utilizing IBM Cloud Pak for Data
- Lead and assist in migrating legacy IBM DataStage workloads to advanced cloud-based solutions
- Define, implement, and uphold data architecture standards, patterns, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, analytics, and IT stakeholders
- Ensure high standards of data quality, consistency, governance, and lifecycle management across various systems
- Assist in building scalable, reliable, and secure data ecosystems
Description
We are STAFFXPERT LLC, currently seeking an IBM Cloud Pak Engineer for our client located in Lansing, MI. This on-site contract position will last for over six months. We are looking for a highly specialized individual with extensive knowledge in IBM Cloud Pak for Data and a solid foundation in enterprise data architecture and governance. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in modernizing our data platforms, facilitating scalable solutions, and maintaining rigorous standards for data quality and integrity.
