Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in cloud solutions architecture
- Proficient in VMware Administration and vSphere Engineering
- Extensive knowledge of AWS EVS and VMware Cloud specialization
- Strong background in migration tools and workload mobility solutions
- Expertise in cloud network architecture including VPN and VPC design
- Familiarity with security protocols and compliance frameworks for VMware and AWS
- Experience in infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Proven ability to implement and manage cloud-based environments effectively
Responsibilities
- Provision and configure EVS clusters in designated AWS regions
- Manage vCenter, ESXi host, and vSAN settings within the EVS framework
- Establish network connectivity between EVS and AWS services, including VPC integration
- Oversee VM migration operations using tools like HCX or equivalent technologies
- Align VMware component licensing with corresponding services
- Design and implement AWS Site-to-Site VPNs and associated network architecture
- Ensure effective integration of ETX over VPN tunnels for seamless data communication
- Maintain security and compliance controls for cloud workloads within AWS
- Automate provisioning processes for EVS environments to enhance efficiency
