Requirements
Must:
- 5-8 years of experience in a technical designer or pattern engineer role, with a strong understanding of pattern making, grading, construction materials, costing, and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CAD Pattern Design software (Optitex), and 3D software (CLO/Browzwear) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, capable of effective contributions within cross-functional teams.
- A Bachelors degree in apparel design, textile science, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent experience in product creation will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the fit and construction process for assigned styles, guiding development and ensuring delivery aligns with product specifications and timelines.
- Generate and update Tech Packs, keeping detailed documentation including product specifications and prototype notes for intricate projects.
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams such as design, product management, sourcing, and product creation centers to meet development and fit objectives.
- Track and communicate progress and obstacles during product testing to ensure product quality and compliance with set standards.
