Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience
- At least 2 years of experience managing Kubernetes-based solutions in production environments
- Proficient in developing distributed systems leveraging public cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Familiarity with observability vendor products such as Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, NewRelic, and Dynatrace
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and layers; experience with Site Reliability Engineering, Crossplane, ClickHouse, or GitOps tools is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of technical solutions for a Kubernetes-focused observability platform
- Create Kubernetes controllers and Crossplane compositions, while maintaining GitOps deployment of CNCF components
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, advocating for robust design and architecture standards with an emphasis on security, observability, and resilience
- Work collaboratively with product teams to deliver solutions that meet platform objectives and assist end-users, which includes participating in support rotations for platform users
