GCP Data Engineer with healthcare experience

- Architect and develop a high-quality GCP-based data lakehouse utilizing BigQuery, GCS, Dataproc, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery Omni - Establish strategies for data ingestion, hydration, curation, processing, and enrichment for various data types - Create domain and canonical data models to support analytics, AI/ML, and operational data products - Design user-friendly data layers and self-service data products for end users - Construct ingestion pipelines for batch, near-real-time, and streaming data using GCP services - Manage the ingestion of clinical datasets from EHR/EMR systems and set up pipelines for various non-clinical systems - Oversee ingestion from medical devices and IoT applications while ensuring efficient data movement - Develop transformation frameworks using BigQuery SQL and other tools to facilitate data enrichment - Implement a robust data governance framework for stewardship, ownership, classification, and lifecycle management - Ensure data lineage and cataloging using appropriate tools, and establish quality control measures - Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to design secure and efficient cloud networks - Work closely with stakeholders across clinical and operational domains to define data cases and schemas - Mentor and lead data engineers while maintaining an active role in pipeline development and architectural validation
