Software Manager, Digital Technology Solutions

- Lead the development of mobile, cloud, and device-connected digital health solutions by collaborating with internal teams and contracted developers. - Provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, cybersecurity, and business standards. - Make architectural decisions, enforce lifecycle procedures, and guarantee high-quality execution from both internal and external teams. - Utilize full-stack knowledge (mobile, backend, cloud) to guide implementations while leveraging outsourced resources. - Direct technical collaborations with engineering partners, ensuring compliance with our development lifecycle and quality expectations. - Make informed decisions regarding scalable and modular architecture across mobile applications, backend services, and cloud setups. - Maintain clear distinctions and documentation between SaMD and non-SaMD features, including thorough data flow and interface definitions. - Create, assess, and endorse requirements and design documentation throughout the development and maintenance stages. - Supervise outsourced efforts in mobile app and backend service development, aligning them with our standards and regulatory guidelines. - Collaborate with contractors and IT to establish secure, validated, and scalable cloud environments. - Oversee the definition of APIs, data models, and backend services that support mobile operations. - Facilitate the establishment and advancement of our CI/CD pipeline and configuration management processes. - Ensure ongoing monitoring of cloud environments, performance tracking, and issue resolution to facilitate continuous improvement. - Partner with cybersecurity and development teams to integrate security and privacy by design into the software development lifecycle. - Support risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability testing efforts. - Uphold adherence to necessary standards and our risk management framework in software and processes. - Enhance our digital software development framework, tools, and templates. - Identify and drive process enhancements that improve efficiency, traceability, and quality across hybrid teams. - Mentor internal software engineers on compliant software methodologies and architectural principles. - Promote a culture of collaboration, practical problem-solving, and accountability within the team.
