Requirements
Must:
- Over 12 years of experience in broadband, software, or service provider industry
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Strong logical reasoning skills to evaluate solutions and outcomes
- Capability to assess personal and organizational performance for improvement
- Understanding of the implications of new information on current and future decision-making
- Knowledgeable in software testing and deployment methods as well as server systems (virtual and physical)
- Familiar with process and program management within a broadband environment
- Proven record of leadership and success
- Commitment to quality excellence demonstrated through ethical behavior and dedication
- Strong program management skills, utilizing a collaborative approach and agile methodologies
- Experience in building and leading teams
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering software operational systems, processes, tools, and teams
- Develop and manage teams responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing software development environments
- Utilize cutting-edge cloud and virtual technologies for agile and flexible systems in the cable industry
- Direct software development, configuration, and data enablement processes
- Establish and oversee a development test organization for all projects and software solutions
- Manage CPE firmware, back-end systems, and client applications
- Supervise the data team responsible for monitoring and reporting on software releases and performance
- Ensure alignment of software delivery systems with operational objectives
- Collaborate with Network Operations for seamless software and system deployment
- Implement technical QA/Test performance standards to exceed product expectations
- Design and oversee software system architecture plans for all projects
- Provide insights on trends and challenges in virtual systems and operations
- Approve key policies and engineering procedures impacting the software delivery system
- Foster a dynamic and highly motivated team in software, testing, and operations
