Telecommunications Operations Engineer

- I must be available for my scheduled shift, which is Sunday to Thursday from 9 pm to 6 am, in an office environment. - I may also work in various environments such as Network Labs, 24/7 Network Operations, and Field Operations, with occasional travel as necessary. - I seek candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience, and relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCIE). - A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Wireline, Wireless, or Broadband telephony switch installation or administration, as well as database management and network configuration, is required. - Candidates must demonstrate abilities such as reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; troubleshooting during outages; and possessing comprehensive telephony knowledge (e.g., SBC, VoIP Switch, SIP protocol). - I look for candidates who can work effectively with vendor providers, maintain professionalism under stress, and utilize personal computer applications efficiently. A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are also prerequisites. - Preferred qualifications include familiarity with company products and services, and a deeper understanding of word processing, spreadsheet applications, TCP/IP standards, and communications protocols. - I aim to create a work environment where our employees develop careers rather than simply fill jobs.
