Requirements
Must:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Over 10 years of experience in system installation, configuration, operations, software development, and/or database development.
- Network Architecture & Engineering: Proficient in enterprise and service provider network design (LAN/WAN, data center, cloud, and edge), with deep expertise in IP routing (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), MPLS, and software-defined networking (SDN/NFV). A solid grounding in telecom networking standards (DOCSIS, Ethernet, 5G, Wi-Fi, optical) is essential, alongside knowledge of network security architecture such as Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW), Zero Trust, and segmentation strategies. Experience in designing high-availability systems, load balancing, and fault-tolerant architectures is required.
- Software Development & Systems Engineering: Skilled in modern development languages (Python, Go, Java, C++), with a strong grasp of API and microservices design (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) and version control best practices. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) is essential, as is experience with cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, serverless) and distributed systems, including big data and AI/ML integration.
- Cross-Disciplinary Technical Skills: Expertise in end-to-end system integration across applications, networks, and infrastructure, with a focus on containerized and virtualized workload orchestration, performance optimization, scalability, and observability (metrics, tracing, logging).
- Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to synthesize diverse viewpoints from technical and business perspectives, maintain good relationships to influence roadmaps, and manage change effectively. Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently while exercising good judgment under pressure. A proven track record of solving complex technology and business issues, along with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and solutions to architectural, development, and operational teams for assigned projects.
- Lead architecture teams to develop and review new software/hardware platforms.
- Evaluate complex designs and tackle issues within internal and external systems to drive business forward.
- Design and support application systems and infrastructure within designated technology domains.
- Develop architectural frameworks and enterprise solutions to address system enhancement and multi-platform integration challenges.
- Collaborate with developers and business teams to establish application roadmaps, align development plans, and resolve integration and capability gaps.
- Create criteria, technologies, and use cases for executing proofs-of-concept on new approaches and platforms.
- Evaluate interfaces and interoperability among systems to determine the impact of changes and integrations.
- Shape technology strategy and establish best practices for code design, API contracts, version control, and automation to foster innovation.
- Lead enterprise prioritization planning sessions with executive management and provide technical mentorship to project teams.
- Review project code compliance in partnership with development managers and provide insights into project costs during the annual budgeting process.
