Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline
- Microsoft Certified (Azure Data Engineer or Solutions Architect) is highly desirable
- Over 10 years of experience in custom application development and data management
- Proven history of managing complex data environments
- Strong knowledge of Data Modeling methodologies; experience with Data Vault is a significant plus
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps
- Experience with Azure DevOps and automated CI/CD pipelines for deploying enterprise solutions
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on technology management, capable of guiding a team of 7-8 without direct-report responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the enterprise data model, ensuring its integrity and scalability from ingestion to reporting
- Lead the design and implementation of modern data architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory
- Develop and uphold data warehouse methodologies, including Data Vault and Star Schema, to meet complex reporting requirements
- Provide high-level technical direction and oversight as a manager for a team of engineers
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to convert their requirements into technical specifications, leveraging automated Azure DevOps pipelines for deployment
- Ensure that all aspects of data architecture comply with regulatory standards such as PII, GDPR, and HIPAA through effective security measures and access controls
Description
At SNI Technology, we are in search of a seasoned Enterprise Data Architect to be the primary technical architect for our clients bespoke data and application projects. This role involves owning and shaping the architecture of a comprehensive data landscape on the Microsoft platform. We offer a dynamic work environment where your expertise in the latest cloud technologies can actively influence our clients enterprise strategies. The compensation for this role starts at $130-150K, plus bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, and more.
