Requirements
Must:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- DOD 8570/8140 IAT II certification or higher
- Possession of a Top Secret Clearance
- Comprehensive understanding of NIST and CNSSI guidelines pertaining to RMF and security controls for national security systems (NSS)
- Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), DoD IA policies, and NIST 800 series standards
- Proficient in eMASS software for RMF processes
- Experience with ACAS Security Center for generating and evaluating vulnerability scans
- Knowledge of STIG Viewer/eMASSter for validating STIG checklists and SCAP scans
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings as well as work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Participate in the Information Assurance Directives (IAD) Team by reviewing higher-level cybersecurity commands, including DCDC Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs) and various operational directives
- Confirm receipt of orders and distribute tasks to system owners across the agency while overseeing action completion
- Attend daily synchronization meetings for DCDC operations and work closely with the DCDC Battle Station regarding ongoing tasks
- Gain insights into DTRA systems, enclaves, and environments to facilitate task distribution and coordination internally
- Stay updated on current technologies and independently research new ones to assess their relevance to orders and tasks for various information systems
- Prepare updates on all CTO tasks and priorities, presenting them to cybersecurity leadership
- Collaborate with other internal DTRA teams to ensure awareness of CTO tasking and compliance, including the DTRA CSSP, Cyber Watch Officers (CWO), and validation team
- Demonstrate knowledge of cybersecurity tools and systems such as eMASS, ACAS, CMRS, Tanium, ESS, etc.
- Effectively translate technical information into clear communication for leadership and colleagues
