Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in IT or a related field with relevant coursework
- At least 3 years of experience in Power BI
- Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, DAX, M, or similar development languages
- Experience in utilizing Microsoft Power BI Data flows for dashboard and extract automation
- Capability to design and implement automated report programs
- Background in Business Intelligence with experience in creating database queries/reports, dashboards, and data analysis, preferably in healthcare
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet tight deadlines
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently on tasks
- Proficient problem-solver with the ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical data challenges
- Prior experience in healthcare and Rx/Medical Claims Processing is highly desirable

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with technical and compliance teams

Responsibilities
- Develop, revise, test, implement, and document reports and data extracts
- Extract data to generate recurring or one-off reports as requested by clients
- Set up and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that assess the effectiveness of SGRXs business actions
- Collaborate with fellow team members in collecting and analyzing both SGRX and Client data for reporting purposes
- Partner with internal and external teams to discover opportunities for enhancing data quality, accuracy, and accessibility
- Conduct supporting activities related to data integration/extraction and modeling
- Achieve and uphold proficiency in currently utilized reporting/analytics tools through training and self-guided learning
- Maintain a robust understanding and experience with data reporting tools such as Microsoft PowerBI, Snowflake, SSMS, etc.
- Keep a strong knowledge of productivity software like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Undertake additional tasks as needed
Description
We are a dynamic organization actively searching for a full-time Data Analyst to become part of our Data Analytics & Reporting team. This role focuses on fulfilling data analysis requests from both internal and external clients, supporting the development and execution of analytics, and offering data-driven strategic insights within a pharmacy benefits context. We assist SGRXs operations along with various internal departments by addressing complex analytical requirements, including quarterly performance evaluations and ad hoc client requests. Our aim is to facilitate strategic decisions that optimize our services. Located in Grosse Pointe Park, MI, we offer a hybrid work environment and provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k), as well as paid time off.
