Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in Windows 11 and Microsoft 365/Office 365 administration
- Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and WINS
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud technologies (preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or helpdesk environment (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- Strong customer service mindset
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Military veterans encouraged to apply due to technical prowess and disciplined approach
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support for Windows 11, Office 365, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Diagnose and resolve complex software, hardware, and operating system issues across diverse client environments
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of IT equipment, including printers, tablets, phones, and conferencing systems
- Install and provide ongoing support for new hardware and software for end users
- Develop and maintain documentation such as procedures, best practices, installation steps, and backout plans
- Execute server administration tasks including user and group management, security permissions, and Group Policy management
- Manage user accounts within Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Log and troubleshoot support tickets in the helpdesk system with detailed documentation
- Assist in the support of Office 365 applications including Outlook, Exchange Online, Teams, file permissions, calendars, and public folders
- Facilitate SharePoint Online management, including permissions, site setup, and user access
- Aid in onboarding and offboarding processes regarding device setup, accounts, and access
- Provide technical support for Zoom meetings, Teams meetings, conference rooms, printers, and IP phones
- Travel to customer locations within 40 minutes of our Waltham office as needed
