Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of professional C# development experience
- 5+ years of professional SQL development experience
- Strong background in SQL Server 2016 or later
- Deep expertise in advanced querying techniques (CTEs, window functions, indexing strategies)
- Proficiency in .NET and C#, with integration experience with reporting tools
- Strong experience in developing SSRS reports, including parameterized reports
- Proven ability to build or work within custom reporting frameworks
- Solid understanding of relational data modeling and reporting-oriented schema design
- Experience overseeing complex reporting initiatives independently
- Prior experience in supporting high-stakes, business-critical reporting systems
- Familiarity with compliance-driven environments
- Experience mentoring junior developers or serving as a technical lead
- Knowledge of performance monitoring and optimization for high-volume reporting workloads
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage complex reporting solutions based on SQL Server using C# and SQL
- Develop and enhance stored procedures, views, and database objects for reporting and analytics
- Create and maintain SSRS reports, facilitating automated delivery and integration with web applications
- Implement reporting solutions utilizing LifeSafers customized internal framework
- Collaborate with other development teams to incorporate reporting data into application processes
- Analyze extensive datasets to inform compliance, operations, and decision-making
- Conduct advanced ad-hoc queries for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ensure the accuracy, performance, scalability, and sustainability of reporting mechanisms
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance challenges regarding queries, reports, and data pipelines
- Review and enhance existing reporting solutions, queries, and database architectures
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers and analysts
- Participate in architectural discussions focused on data access and reporting strategies
