SASSI
1st Street NE 201, Washington
$98,446 - 98,446
Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred) who possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). You should have over 8 years of experience in malware analysis, reverse engineering, or digital forensics. Additionally, you must demonstrate the ability to function as a senior-level analyst without needing technical training in mobile forensics, file and software analysis, email analysis (specifically phishing detection), and URL/domain analysis.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Malware Analyst, you will conduct in-depth static and dynamic analysis of malware to discover its behavior, capabilities, and delivery methods. You will utilize tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and Binary Ninja for reverse engineering compiled code and identifying embedded threats. You will also lead forensic investigations on mobile devices (iOS/Android), analyze files and software to identify malicious payloads and obfuscation techniques, and evaluate emails for phishing attempts and malicious attachments. Moreover, you will perform URL/domain analysis to detect malicious redirection and command-and-control infrastructure, capture volatile memory, logs, and artifacts from compromised systems, and develop detection signatures, IOCs, YARA rules, and threat models based on your analyses. Collaboration with incident response, SOC, and threat intelligence teams is essential, and you'll need to produce detailed technical reports and risk analysis briefings for our senior leadership.
Description
Your work will take place in a hybrid environment, balancing onsite support in Arlington, VA, and remote work. We expect you to maintain a dependable presence during core business hours (8:30 AM to 3:30 PM EST, Monday–Friday), with flexibility to work between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Being available onsite for scheduled mission requirements, collaborative work sessions, and classified tasks is essential. During remote workdays, we expect you to be responsive and active, engaging in meetings, incident response activities, and customer communications through Microsoft Teams, email, and other platforms. We value benefits such as 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance for our full-time employees.
