Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field
- Minimum one year of experience in Heavy Construction and Project environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to represent the Company professionally with external organizations and regulatory bodies
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to tackle problems with multiple concrete variables in standardized situations
- Good judgment and common sense in decision-making
- Capability to multi-task in fast-paced environments
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with all company levels and external stakeholders
- Ability to address inquiries from teams of managers, clients, and vendors
Responsibilities
- Support the project team from planning to project completion
- Review project drawings and submittals for compliance with requirements
- Analyze test reports from third-party firms for errors or deficiencies
- Provide regular quality control updates to Project Managers
- Develop and review site-specific quality procedures with the Project Engineer
- Assist leadership in resolving client quality-related complaints
- Coordinate the ordering and receipt of necessary project materials and equipment
- Oversee weekly quality meetings and identify relevant safety meeting elements
- Monitor daily quality practices and conduct ongoing inspections
- Implement authority to halt work if quality issues arise
- Guide the Project Engineer on quality-related matters to maintain project schedules
- Evaluate the performance of subcontractors and vendors regarding quality and efficiency
- Prepare and submit reports on inventory, calibrations, and quality issues
- Provide weekly updates on as-built conditions and maintain safety logs
- Champion site quality program requirements and revisions
- Collaborate with the Project Manager on project close-out documents
- Serve as Lead Auditor for quality audits on construction activities
- Conduct physical inspections of various construction disciplines
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Division Manager
