Zscaler engineer

- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a relevant field (or 4+ years of equivalent experience) - Eligibility to obtain and retain a public trust, requiring U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status - At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience with a diverse range of tools in cloud, endpoint, identity, and network security domains - Minimum 2 years of practical experience managing Zscaler services (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX), including policy management and SAML integration - Hands-on experience with security solutions such as EDR, DLP, secure web gateways, email security, IDPS, firewalls, and SIEM - Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux system administration, scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash), and integrating cloud-native security solutions - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication capabilities Desired Qualifications: - Experience in federal or regulated sectors - Knowledge of DNS-layer protection, threat analytics, and Zero Trust architectures - Familiarity with tools like CrowdStrike, Office 365, Microsoft Defender, and Intune - Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Administrator, Security+, CySA+, GSEC, Microsoft SC-300, CCNP Security, PCNSE, or Splunk Certified Architect
