Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree plus 14 years of experience, or Masters degree with 12 years of experience; alternative experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficient in Red Hat Linux and RHEL Satellite Server.
- Extensive expertise in VMware and vSphere design, integration, and deployment.
- Familiarity or training in VMware and ESX 7.0+ deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
- Background as a Windows engineer or administrator, including Active Directory, GPOs, and PowerShell scripting.
- Proven experience leading system integration projects as the technical lead.
- Demonstrated ability to work with clients to document and capture requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as a key member of the DoS PMD Infrastructure team.
- Design, integrate, and deploy VMware IT solutions.
- Install and configure new data center equipment.
- Collaborate with the Networking team to configure virtual switching.
- Provide engineering support for enterprise-level solutions using virtual server hosting and Dell storage technologies.
- Provision Virtual Machines and apply software and hardware patches to the hosting infrastructure.
- Develop and update system and process documentation, including user guides, diagrams, and SOPs as needed.
