Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 14-17 years of experience in systems integration, configuration management, and operational readiness within DoD or Government environments
- Proficiency in managing complex ground and aerial systems, along with cloud and Kubernetes-based architectures
- At least one relevant certification: Certified Network Defender (CND), CompTIA Security+ or higher (e.g., CASP+ or Cloud+), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar certifications from Global Information Assurance Certifications (GIAC)
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present metrics and strategies to senior leadership
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Extensive experience with deploying, monitoring, and validating Kubernetes-based integrations
- Familiarity with modern DevSecOps practices and software lifecycle management
- Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are advantageous
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and SBOM methodologies is highly regarded
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation, configuration, and integration of hardware, software, and network systems across aerial and ground mission nodes
- Oversee system-level testing to validate mission readiness and performance
- Manage Kubernetes-based and air-gapped environments while deploying zarf packages
- Coordinate with the ABMS Enterprise Service Desk, systems administrators, and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate documentation, including system configuration records
- Provide quarterly metrics and trend analysis to Government Program Offices and leadership
- Ensure compliance with DoD security protocols and operational standards utilizing software bill of materials (SBOMs) and configuration best practices
