Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of nine (9) years of experience; or a Masters degree with seven (7) years; or a PhD or JD with four (4) years of experience.
- Relevant experience with the Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DOD) in a technical engineering context.
- Comprehensive understanding of systems engineering processes, lifecycle management, and integration functions.
- Proven ability to identify and implement improvements to systems and processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with all organizational levels, and the ability to convey technical issues to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in collaborating across Integrated Product Teams and project organizations, focusing on team dynamics, identifying gaps, coordinating activities, and applying problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Define distinct systems and establish processes to connect complex systems and components with software applications for cohesive performance.
- Utilize a diverse skill set and extensive knowledge in various engineering and technology disciplines, including systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, as well as interface protocols.
- Assist in developing transition planning, requirements documentation, and establishing architecture baselines.
- Lead the creation of integration and migration plans and schedules.
- Serve as an advocate for both internal and external clients, providing expertise in architectural design to solve business challenges.
- Contribute to enhancements of business processes and conduct systems analysis for missions and systems.
