Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of professional experience in IT systems engineering
- Current DoD Secret Clearance
- IAT Level III certifications (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH)
- Computing Environment certification specific to Cloud or virtualization (preference for Azure)
- Proficient in Redhat Enterprise Linux and command line management
- Comprehensive knowledge of Terraform and Cloud Formation
- Experience in setting up workflows for diverse environments (development, staging, production)
- Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
- Skilled in resolving end-to-end connectivity issues within DoD networks
- Proficient in utilizing tools like Git, YML, and AWS security features (WAF, GuardDuty, IAM, etc.)
- Familiar with AWS EC2, S3, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, Lambda, IAM
- Previous experience with GitLab and managing GitLab runners
- Adept in developing and maintaining GitLab CI pipelines
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Podman
- Strong understanding of Container networking
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and mentor junior colleagues
- Capable of identifying and resolving operational inefficiencies proactively
Responsibilities
- Lead technical development and execution of cloud architecture solutions that transform clients use of technology with a focus on security and scalability
- Plan, design, and oversee the migration and integration of complex cloud systems to enable shared services for clients
- Ensure compliance of commercial cloud services with DoD policies and guidelines
- Provide detailed recommendations for hardware, software, and cloud service provider selection based on efficiency for current and future business needs
- Stay updated with industry standards in cloud computing and virtualization technologies
- Engage in systems engineering activities including Concept of Operations, Requirements Analysis, System Design, and Integration
- Collaborate with senior management to set strategic goals and objectives
- Make decisions related to project administration and ensure the successful achievement of objectives
