Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and at least nine years of experience; Masters and seven years; PhD or JD and four years; or four years of experience may substitute for a degree
- Minimum of nine years of relevant experience in DoD, Army, or INSCOM intelligence modernization, operations, systems, and organizations
- Extensive experience with Splunk, Elastic, Kubernetes, VMware Tanzu, and VMware vCenter
- Current Security+ certification
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally (~10%) to support INSCOM G7 requirements
- Relevant IT certifications in Splunk, Elastic, or Kubernetes are preferred
- Familiarity with RHEL Openshift is advantageous
- Experience in Converged Infrastructure (CI) Distributed Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination (DPED) Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environment is a plus
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required and willingness to undergo a CI polygraph to obtain or maintain access
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance for the effective use and integration of containerized Splunk/Elastic infrastructure, agents, dashboards, and services that monitor Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux virtual machines
- Stay current with technological advancements and provide subject matter expertise on technology enhancements, revising policies and guidance as necessary, while supporting the adoption of new commercial applications
- Contribute technical expertise for the automated deployment and configuration of necessary infrastructure, containers, and services within a virtual environment
- Collaborate with tier III support for troubleshooting Splunk/Elastic implementation and operation; coordinate with INSCOM G7 for future development efforts while supporting relevant stakeholders to meet objectives
- Perform functionality testing prior to delivery to ensure compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity standards
- Develop technical documentation for implementation guidance aimed at tier III support personnel for successful deployment and operation of servers and applications; deliver briefings, white papers, executive summaries, and other presentations as required for senior Army and Intelligence Community leaders
