Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and at least five (5) years of pertinent experience; alternatively, an additional four (4) years of experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Proficient in operating systems including Windows 11, Windows Server, Linux, and ESXi.
- Familiar with network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, SMTP, and others.
- Knowledgeable in infrastructure hardware and appliances.
- Experienced with security compliance within a DoD context, including STIGs, GPOs, SCAP, and FedRAMP.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing and related technologies.
- Must possess a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CISSP, CASP).
- Must be eligible to obtain a full TS/SCI Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level II and III support to the Helpdesk and staff at the Pacific Warfighting Center.
- Generate and manage user and group accounts across designated enclaves.
- Create and maintain baseline system images and configurations utilizing MDT, MECM, DSC Kickstart, and Ansible.
- Address and implement Cyber Tasking Orders as needed.
- Apply patches to systems and perform regression testing.
- Implement STIGs and conduct appropriate regression tests.
- Establish and oversee backup processes, ensuring file restorations as required; regularly test the restoration process.
- Monitor cloud usage and associated costs.
- Oversee hardware health and performance.
- Supervise various services, including Domain Controller, Email, File and Print Servers, DNS, SharePoint, ADFS, WAP, OOS, SQL, ClearPass, DHCP, MECM, VDI, and others.
- Provide cloud engineering support across Entra, Intune, Azure, and M365.
- Upgrade and configure infrastructure software and hardware as needed.
- Update hardware and software inventory lists.
- Revise Systems and Network Diagrams as necessary.
- Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and associated documentation.
