System Administrator with Linux Expertise

- Security + Certification is mandatory. - MCSA, Azure, Linux System Administration Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, or equivalent is preferred. - Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related subject with 2 years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma with 6 years of experience. - Top Secret/SCI clearance is essential. - Demonstrated experience as a System Administrator in a Department of Defense (DoD) or similarly regulated environment. - Significant familiarity with SolarWinds management. - Extensive experience with VMware, Nutanix, and Microsoft virtualization technologies. - Profound knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop administration. - Extensive understanding of networking protocols and cybersecurity best practices. - Experience with managing Active Directory, Group Policies, and other Microsoft domain services. - Proficient in Windows Server and Desktop management. - Familiar with SharePoint and Microsoft O365 products for project collaboration. - Skilled in PowerShell, Microsoft Management Console, and other Microsoft management tools. - Understanding of DoD compliance standards and cybersecurity requirements. - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for accurate documentation. - Optional but preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP).
