Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 9+ years of experience, or Masters degree with 7+ years, or PhD with 5+ years in a related technical field.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Proven experience in developing, testing, or deploying software systems for the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DOD), preferably with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).
- Familiarity with using SysML and MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx, or Enterprise Architect.
- Understanding of Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems and their operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead for the System Program Office (SPO), collaborating with mission area subject matter experts to create and sustain detailed system architectures and data models.
- Design and model space protection system structures, capturing specifications and defining software behaviors and interfaces while planning for verification and validation.
- Review MBSE contract deliverables from the primary software developer.
- Engage with stakeholders and lead architecture discussions to address evolving enterprise requirements, providing technical evaluations to government points of contact.
- Conduct systems-of-systems analysis and trade studies to identify optimal design solutions.
- Implement MBSE strategies, best practices, tools, and frameworks throughout the engineering lifecycle, supporting Contracting Officer Technical Representatives and developers in refining requirements and testing capabilities to meet user needs.
