Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of nine (9) years of experience; Masters degree with at least seven (7) years of experience; or PhD or JD with four (4) years of relevant experience. Relevant experience can substitute for academic qualifications.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining critical space systems for national security, particularly in space-to-ground integration.
- Familiarity with systems engineering for complex multi-element systems, ideally in Space-based remote sensing or communication.
- Proficient in using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, especially Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in fast-paced space development programs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a vital member of the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team within the T3PI program.
- Support the integration and initial testing of Space Vendor designs to fulfill system requirements and meet mission objectives while managing technical and scheduling challenges.
- Ensure that segment-level specifications align with overall system requirements.
- Assess End-to-End system operations and functional dynamics between space and ground segments.
- Assist in functional analysis, scheduling assessments, and trade studies.
- Facilitate the MBSE Cameo Model for documenting requirements, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and interfaces among Space and Ground Segments.
- Conduct system-level risk assessments.
- Collaborate with space vehicle contractors to ensure design compliance with requirements and consistency across segments.
- Engage in coordination and working group meetings to address any gaps, risks, or required system waivers.
- Aid in the planning and execution of system-level tests, as well as in the evaluation of segment-level test strategies and implementations.
